Terms & Conditions

Last updated 14 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Social Scales website and your engagement with us. By accessing this website or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Social Scales is a growth-services company that helps ecommerce brands build TikTok Shop as a revenue channel. You can contact us at hello@social-scales.com.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for established ecommerce and direct-to-consumer businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of the business you represent to submit an application or book a call.

3. Applications and bookings

Submitting the form and booking a strategy call does not create a contract for services or guarantee that we will work together. Any engagement is subject to a separate written agreement setting out the specific scope, fees, and terms. We reserve the right to decline any application at our discretion.

4. Nature of our services and no guarantee of results

We provide business education and growth services. We do not offer a business opportunity, franchise, get-rich-quick scheme, or any guarantee of income or results, except any specific performance terms expressly set out in a separate signed agreement. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your product, margins, offer, execution, and market conditions.

5. Testimonials, case studies, and figures

Any testimonials, screenshots, case studies, and figures shown on this site reflect the experience of specific clients or referenced third parties and are clearly labelled where they relate to others. They are not typical, are not a promise or guarantee of your results, and should not be relied upon as such. Some figures shown are illustrative or reported in a currency other than pounds sterling.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, branding, video, and our methods and frameworks, is owned by or licensed to Social Scales and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, submit false information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Third-party services and links

Our site integrates and links to third-party services (for example, scheduling, video hosting, and advertising platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The website is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Scales shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Not affiliated

This website is not part of, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Google, or YouTube. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
